A Fishing First…
That fish was flopping away between his feet, his glasses were slightly askew and dripping with lake water, and he was grinning from ear to ear…
I suppose that is what you get for spinning around on this ol’ rock for ninety years, huh?
Come through The Barndoor and find out what Mister Harold had not seen coming.
T-Bone Comes Home to Roost After 35 Years at Woodlawn
A couple of years after his dad retired, T-Bone was handed the entire Maintenance Department to run, just as his father had for so many years. His final hoorah was redesigning a pneumatic-hydraulic quad-drilling unit/table that is PLC controlled. His dad built the original in the late 1970s. It worked and did the job for close to 50 years!
From learning the trade under his dad to carrying that legacy into a new generation of manufacturing, T-Bone’s 40-year career is one hell of a story. Come meet the man behind T-Bone’s Place and see how he finally came home to roost.
“Be Still” is a Farm Chore Too
Apparently, “sit down, don’t touch anything and just be still” has become my chore on the homestead. Between ants invading the house, stalled potato logs, greenhouse mishaps, and one very angry pinched nerve, T-Bone’s Place has been serving up a little more chaos than usual.
The Barndoor Is Open:
Come through The Barndoor for everyday stories from T-Bone’s Place, where farmstead chores, detours, mishaps, small wins, failing forward, and real life all become part of the story. Pull up a chair and rummage around.
