Questions Folks Ask About T-Bone’s Place
Do you earn commissions from product links?
Yep! T-Bone’s Place participates in the Amazon Associates Program. That means if you click a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Do you use AI to help with content?
Only in limited ways. Our real photos, videos, garden footage, farmstead projects, and behind-the-scenes moments are created by us.
We may use AI-assisted tools for some graphic artwork, character illustrations, decorative visuals, and fantasy storytelling pieces, including parts of Thistlewyn’s Adventures. Every visual is human-directed, reviewed, edited, and approved before it appears on T-Bone’s Place.
Are those really our rabbits?
Yes! Patches, Gloria and Arnold are really our rabbits; they are responsible for producing a good portion of the meat here at T-Bone’s Place. We are really excited to add Arnold to the barn! We don’t breed in the hotter months, we choose not to stress our Mom’s during the hottest months. Come along this fall and winter! There’ll be babies everywhere! 🤗🐰
Is our greenhouse enclosed in plastic?
At this time, we have not encapsulated the greenhouse in a plastic enclosure—for a couple of reasons. Initially, we planned on an expansion—if I remember correctly, the current house is something like, 18-feet long, and we talked about duplicating it, but adding a 12-foot section in the center…so it would end up being a 48-foot-long greenhouse! INSANITY! THEN—we decided to plot twist so, yeah—pending retirement is a HOOT! SO, it has not been finished at this location. 🤪😉Stay tuned!

For some graphic artwork, character illustrations, and fantasy storytelling pieces, we may use AI-assisted tools as part of the design process. That includes things like Thistlewyn’s Adventures, character art, decorative graphics, and visual story elements.
Every image is shaped, reviewed, edited, and approved with a human touch so it fits the spirit of T-Bone’s Place.
Think of it as a collaboration between me, my digital sketch assistant, and a spoonful of East Texas mischief.
What makes T-Bone’s Place different?
T-Bone’s Place is different because everything we share is rooted in real life, storytelling, East Texas grit, and the work we are actually doing. We don’t fake farmstead life or write from a distance. We live the projects, learn from the mess, listen to the land, and share what we figure out along the way.
Whether it is rabbits, greenhouse experiments, bucket gardens, local gems, repurposed projects, or characters like Thistlewyn, everything here is shaped by lived experience, practical curiosity, and a deep respect for the place we call home.
We stand firmly against violence, oppression, and hate in all forms, and we believe creativity, like a good farmstead system, should uplift, protect, and connect.
